Title: Wingman Tactics Clinic
Post by: Rolex on September 12, 2010, 04:33:57 AM: Join us in the Training Arena for a two-hour clinic on the fundamentals of wingman doctrine and tactics. We'll have numerous trainers participating in this comprehensive clinic. This is appropriate for even the most experienced players. As a minimum, you must have working controller and basic knowledge of the game.

This clinic is always popular and I trust you'll enjoy this one, so mark your calendars. Bring some paper, a pen and your wingman, or we'll pair you up with someone.

We've tried to make the schedule North America and Europe friendly. Our apologies to Aussies and Kiwis this time.

Sunday, September 26th
4 p.m. U.S. EDT
9 P.M. BST (GMT + 1)
Training Arena, Bishops.
Field and vox channel will be announced before start.

More often than not, someone will film the class and post it afterward. The only thing you miss out on are the questions you might want answered. However, if as you watch the film you write down your questions you could PM (private message) them to one of the trainers they would be happy to try and help you out.

Hopefully someone films it :pray

Post by: Flifast on September 26, 2010, 08:21:20 PM: I got the film for 3 aircraft. I'm editing it and making chase plane views. I've read the manual, flown in RL, but this was fun and helpful for the new guys. I'll share when I can.

Note: Best watched if,

1) you turn mic beeps off in VOX options. Under Options, Preferences, Voice, UNMARK "Enable Range Channel Beeps" AND "Enable Tunable Channel Beeps";

2) In AH film viewer, mark "Use recorded views" and "Icons", leave trails off, Trainers used smoke on.

I left some student training on so you can watch (my) mistakes and avoid them. :banana: :x
