				Hi there,

I'll be visiting Las Cruces, New Mexico, for a conference end of next october, and I was wondering if you know of any aviation museums or if White Sands AFB has anything that's open to the public.
I was thinking about going to the Very Large Array (I think it's 2h30min away by car) but apart from that, I don't know if there's anything worth visiting aviation-wise.

 Thanks in advance!

There is a War Eagles Air Museum there in Las Cruces.  The only thing at White Sands is a small walk around park that has missiles on it.

Here is the website for the Museum:

There is also a space museum in Alamogordo (about and hour's drive east) that is interesting.  http://www.nmspacemuseum.org/  The VLA is worth the trip if you have the time available.  From Las Cruces, it will take up most of a day with the drive up and back and spending time at the facility.  http://www.vla.nrao.edu/   :salute
