     Refs played FAR too large a role in that game.

Nah, The Jets committed a lot of dumb penalties. The Ravens played well and their strategy worked (making Sanchez beat them). Sanchez had a miserable game and Keller coming up a yard short on the last pass was unforgivable. Hopefully the Jets play smarter against the Pats.
