Title: Call Phone data cord
Post by: Chalenge on September 13, 2010, 09:54:56 PM
Maybe this isnt really a bug... but I thought you should be aware of it.

I bought a new data cord (I use it for charging) for a Samsung phone and without installing the USB drivers for it I used it to charge my phone while I was flying. Unfortunately I discovered too late that if you do not install the drivers you get undesired signals of some sort. This made itself known by dropping bombs off my Arado after two rearms. The first time I thought it was a calibration issue but the second time I just removed the 'new changes' (data cord) and the problem stopped.

Never knew that could happen!

You can purchase a powered USB hub and not connect it to the computer and use that to charge your phone.. or you can get something like THIS (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2379).

But yeah... any time you get funny joystick issues, the first thing you want to do is unplug any unnecessary USB Devices and see if that corrects the issue.

Wel... after nearly 24 hours I finally notice I spelled "cell" with an 'a.'

You landed 56,000 in damage last night in that 234, are you sure that isn't the bug?

Of course not! I only rearmed it three times or it would have been much more!  :D
