"The Second Battle of El Alamein marked a major turning point in the Western Desert Campaign of the Second World War. The battle lasted from 23 October-5 November 1942. The First Battle of El Alamein had stalled the Axis advance. Thereafter, Lieutenant-General Bernard Montgomery took command of the British Eighth Army from General Claude Auchinleck in August 1942."1

I was distracted and I failed to read the setup... It's not the old Tunisia map... what a pity, those beautiful desert camos will stay unused.
Could not stop myself from noting how perfect the 109 camouflage is in the current map. The 109's are almost invisible in this terrain, at least in low-res world. The 110's are not so "stealth" because they are bigger. Oh well...

I really like this setting. For me it's right up there with no icons. Watching my ac drift to the left even though it's in trim with the ball centered and the fact that when you're in auto climb or auto level your plane doesn't track perfectly straight definately makes it seem more like a real experience. I'd like to see this become a standard setting.
