The CH Products web site has been saying "To be announced" for months.
FlightSim Central (http://www.fscentral.com) is saying 4th Quarter 2000.
But everyone knows what those estimates are worth, after all the company doesn't commit. Personally I don't expect those products this year.
I will need to replace my MS SW Pro 3D way before that, it's showing its age (and I'm dying for a full HOTAS system). And there's no way I'm buying gameport stuff. With comments I've been reading about voltage and all that (I got a Diamond MonsterSound MX300 sound card), I don't want to risk having problems with gameport stuff (I've had enough of those, thank you).
Suncom (http://www.suncominc.com) is supposed to release USB gear (the F15E throttle and the Throttle) during the summer, but they don't have pedals (you can add pedals from another company). They don't appear to plan supporting Win2k though.
The CH web site mentions problems between their software and Win98SE. That's the version I got, besides Win2k (my SW won't work under Win2k because of my MX300 soundcard). They have been saying for months that a fix is on the way. This does not say good things about support from CH.
I'm getting tired of waiting for USB products. I'm mighty tempted by the Saitek X36 USB combo. It's available NOW, and I could add CH Pro Pedals USB. And the Saitek user web site mentioned in the X36 thread says Saitek is going to support Win2k...

I went through the same analysis as you are now going through. I finally found the Saitek x36 USB combo stick and throttle.
I can honestly say that coming from a good Thrustmaster Pro heavy duty stick and TQS throttle system this Saitek x36 combo USB is excellent. You'll get a very nice feel to the stick and well placed buttons and hats. The combinations are almost endless. I have everything I could want programmed to exactly the right spot on the combo.
Make sure you get the USB version. It's vastly superior to the old gameport stuff. It will indicated that analog rudder pedals won't work with it, but they will work with AH. I had them working fine, but having experienced USB I quickly switched to CH USB pedals as well.

I've been led to believe that Suncom's products are actually ready, but are awaiting software. The problem is that most games only see the first game controller, and seperate USB stick, throttle and rudders are seen as three. This isn't a problem in AH, of course. Allegedly this is fixed by MS in DX8.

Buy a saitek setup, it's cheaper and works pretty well. I gave up waitin on chpro over 18 months ago. Thats how long, at least, they've been claiming that it's coming. I got the chpro pro usb pedals. Seems alot of the chpro hat switches on their sticks are only 4 way. Kinda makes it hard to get all 8 views with a 4 way hat switch and I wouldnt count on chpro makin this upcoming stick with an 8 way.

ygsmilo....last I checked...bout 5 days ago, the Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals, and a couple of joysticks were ALL available in USB for CH products. Check their website. Personally, am still waiting on the Flightstick Pro to come available, then will order a USB setup myself.

I have the saitek setup. Best joystick i've ever had. Lord knows i've had many of them(CH,TM,MS,SAITEK,SUNCOM) as well.
you can get refurbs at the saitek site for $40. My dad got one and i couldnt tell that it was used. He's had it for over a year and not a single problem.
