I was a LITTLE too young when this came out (1983. I was 3 years old) but still vaguely remember it. Actually, I think I remember the cartoon based on it a little more.

The first interactive cut-scene in gaming history right here, by one of the best animators EVER (in fact, some of his stuff is better than Disney at their peak).

I've always thought that he doesn't get enough recognition.  I think The Secret of NIMH is better all around then any Disney animated feature films.

I used to play the hell out of Dragon's Lair, it was a damn tough game too, but it looked so awesome.  It brought a smile  to my face as it ate my quarters.   Also, the Secret of Nimh is still a great movie, it absolutely rocked.  Good stuff guys!

Woah...  "Nimh" was truly great.  I'm gonna have to download that and watch it again.   :rock

I've heard that Don Bluth has been trying to get financing to finally do a Dragon's Lair feature film. The plan is to use traditional hand-drawn animation. Seriously, someone cut the man a check already!

I miss the old hand-drawn films. Yeah, CG is cool and all, but there's just something special--a SOUL--about really great traditional animation that CG movies just can't match.

The Land Before Time is my favorite movie.  The challenges each character faces alone and together make this story a must see for all.  Don Bluth Rocks!   :rock :rock
