Hello all,
This past weekend I purchased a TM package consisting of a set of Elite Rudder Pedals, TM Throttle and a TM joystick.
Every thing works fine. The problem is: I misread/misinterpreted the number of buttons available on the throttle. I though I was going to get 12 (4 x a three way thumb switch). Instead I got 6 ( 4 + 2 on the thumb).
The prob is the 4 way hat switch. I really got used to having an 8 way hat switch on a MS digital stick. Now I've had to program 45 degree views on the throttle and frankly I don't like it. Well my brain doesn't like it because now I've had to split views between both brain hemispheres and SA suffers.
So is there any 8-way joystick out there that will work with TM Elite rudders and the TM throttle.

The F16 Fighterstick from CH has an 8 way hat. Also, if you have a sidwinder 3d pro and not a precision pro you can move a switch on the bottom of the base to make it analog instead of digital. F16 is a nice stick but I personally found it huge since I was used to the micorsoft stick. For me reaching all the top buttons and hats was a pain. Its a bit pricy as well.

What Rosco said! but I have very large hands and the stick fits me like a glove.
As for me I started out a few years ago with a Sidewinder Pro and loved the 8 way hat.
When I went 'upscale' I HAD to keep that hat and bought an F16 Fighterstick. I love it.

Wich model of TM joy do you have? The two bigger hats of the TM FLCS F16 are both 8 way. I've not tried the rest, but i'm almost sure that the four hats are all 8 way ones.

The Saitek X36 stickies have a couple of 8 ways on them and the new USB version at least doesnt have the sticky key prob now.
