Title: A friend of mine <S>

Sometime around 10:00 this morning, a friend of mine was in a severe ATV accident. He has a fractured skull, a broken arm, and his brain is swollen. He is only in the 8th grade, but I know him from playing football and wrestling for the middle school. He is everyone's favorite kid. UK hospital is giving him up to 48 hours to wake up from his coma, otherwise he won't make it. He's a tough kid, but I'm not sure how this one is going to turn out.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and please remember to say a special prayer for him.

I've asked around and have heard that they had performed a surgery. I still don't know his condition, but the docs sound optimistic, he is still in Intensive Care.

Nah, I don't cry much. Especially now that they are saying he is stabilizing... err.. showing promise.

He is still in ICU, I may go see him tomorrow, it's been a while since I last saw him. I hope he makes a full recovery, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

So he's out of the coma, right?  That's a rough thing to take at such an age (I'm only a year older, who am I kidding?),  :salute.
