Title: Dual Boot Help - Bloom, anyone?
Post by: SOB on September 04, 2001, 04:20:00 AM
I need/want to dual boot Win2k Professional workstation and NetWare 5.1 server on the same computer.  I'm only using the server to study for a cert, so it'd be nice to use the computer as a second gamer when I'm not studying.

Anyone know for sure how this can work before I start tinkering?

Thanks!

Use some type of boot manager program.  They are pretty cheap usually.  One program I can think of is OS Commander.

The boot manager in Partition Magic is very good.

One tip for you: put each OS on a seperate physical disk. That way, screwups have less chance of screwing you.

Well, I just happen to have an extra SCSI drive lying around.  I guess I'll use it!   :)

Thanks guys...I'll grab a copy of partition magic then.
