poor guy in the chute and people on the beach trying to swim

Kind of chilling.
Those were some low straffing runs.

Like the part where the rocket flew into the factory.

Look like it burst through a couple of buildings too.
HiTechhhhhhhhhhhhhh! we need improved rockets!

great vid, good find :aok

Looks like that rocket went right through a window. And can't help but to feel sorry for that poor dude who's chute got ripped away from his body; Enemy or not, horrible way to die.

Unless im seeing it wrong, it looked still attached to me

It is the plane just before the scene where you see the chute. It seprates from the pilot about half second you see it come from the plane. If you pause and play it few times, you'll see it.

there is another vid somewhere of this same thing, a Japanese pilot opens his chute and his straps break. chute goes one way, pilot goes the other.
-
seeing some of the japanese planes torch like sent a shiver down my spine, would hate to be in that position
-
Great find.

Go to 00:12 ~ is that a HO about to happen? (stop at 0:14:00 and clearly see the nose of the AC)
Go to 04:14 ~ The two AC in front of him (friendly from the looks of smoke trailing the one of the left from firing guns) are getting dam close from getting shot up from direct fire and ricochets.
-
ahh this video makes me feel bad, but i cant look away :cry
-
amazing how destructive those 50 cal rounds actually are.
Thanks for sharing :salute

i think the Japanese had trains as well :)
at first I thought one of those planes was a 190, but on closer inspection it was a KI84

lol thats like a half second clip! how can you be so sure that that is Europe and not Japan? Not trying to be argumentative, but I don't understand your thinking here. Please explain.

cool find thanks :aok

It looks like some of those guys got lucky to have survived the strafing run. I saw at least one got below mast head height on a small boat. Great example of target fixation and a really really late pull out. :O

That's nothing that was recently declassified. Sounds like some companies
cheezey marketing ploy. All of it is bits of guncams and segments of actual
WWII government made documentaries. All avail for decades via the US
archives and available for purchase over the web for at least ten years.

There was a show on the Military Channel that did a segment on gun cam from WWII - Modern war. They where showing a few image of P-47s over France and how the pilots will shot at anything that helps Germany, including cattle. In this video from 03:00 to about 03:30 are all in Germany as they where viewing it on the show. Two guys whee talking about it even made a remark how the pilot had to adjust his aiming but using the rudders.
-
I think of equal note is how many of those guys seemed to be AFK....
