a part for my internet connection is burnt out  :cry so........ i am sidelined til i get a new part <sniffle> <WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA>.

DOUBLE <sniffle>  :cry no its a little blackbox where the int box connects w the PC, i dunno i aint that tecY

Modem?? Your internet provider will replace it.

Take it to them and they'll hand you a new one.

Not that easy in the BUSH, ya c i have to call them then they send it then i have to wait for the mail to come, which cud take up to a week.  :cry I may be able to borrow one from a friend here in the village, i HOPE so LOL.

Sorry to hear that about your modem. Are you sure it's dead? I don't hear of modems totally crapping out much.
What's the modem doing (or not)?

i cannot figure out why my internet will not work i tried a brand new wires and a new internet box, nuttin no connection, frustrating

how are you posting now?  if it's at another house take your PC there and connect it to see if it might be an internal problem, if it's a internal or external modem (dial-up) check the properties to make sure it's enabled and is showing up in your network connections, click start/settings/network and see what you have listed there, if it is dial-up and your able to call out then the problem is either modem or ISP provider related and i would call them

Jees Greens... I would think you could go lasso a moose and snowski to an internet shop quicker than waiting on mail  :lol
