finally got it (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif).
But after installing the CPU runs only as 466 (66 Bus speed) (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif).
Anybody some ideas???ß

You need to update the BIOS,here`s the URL for updated BIOS and flash utility, follow the istructions exactly.<IMPORTANT>

THX, Jihad but I already did that (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif).

Hi maik,
Have you tried holding the insert key during boot up? This will load the BIOS default setup to CMOS then hit delete during the post to check out your BIOS settings and make sure everything is as it should be. Try this and post back with your settings in the CPU SoftMenuII section of the BIOS. Good Luck!

Disable the speed error hold setting in the CPU SOFT MENU section of the BIOS,then under CPU operating speed choose the user define option.
This will allow you to manually set your CPU speed by adjusting the external clock and multiplier parameters. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Well, that was the next step... (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I was interested in seeing what the default setup was before making any of those changes. Also, disabling Speed Error Hold should only be necessary if he is going to overclock it. I still wanna see what he's got for settings in there before advising further (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

THX again, tried all of it, even manually could set it to 466 MHZ.
Settings don't work:
- CPU-Speed 700 (100)
- Turbo Enabled/disabled
- Voltage 1,65V
Settings that work:
- CPU-Speed 466(66)

Hmmm... very strange. What does the post screen identify the CPU as? There is no such thing as a Pentium III 466, only 450,500,550 etc. under User Define you should be able to manually set all those parameters. What does it do when you say it doesnt work?Does it post and boot at all? I have the same Mobo running a PIII 550E on it and the 1st time I put it in(after flashing the BIOS) it posted as a 366 but I was able to set it up correctly manually immediately. I now have it running at 733 quite well after some tweaking (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Is it a slot1 or an FC/PGA model?
If it is FC/PGA, then what type of Slotket adapter are you using? I have heard of problems with some adapters but they all have to do with voltage, never wrong CPU parameters. Please let us know and we should be able to get it straightened out.

I just managed to get back to the net with my new Abit Raid-133 (http://hardocp.com/reviews/mainboards/abit/bx133) and PIII 700@933 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Something strange thought:
Runs like a hell but now I had to wait couple minutes before re-start if I switch power off from start menu.
If I select re-start it works like a swiss clock (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Now I need a couple Maxtors to have a raid-disks and GTS (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
