Pretty good superman punch there at the end.

Good choreography...almost hollyweird believable except for the part where neither of them seems to feel any real pain for more than a second or two.

Gorgeous women.  :aok

When the adrenaline's pumping, pain really isn't a factor anymore.  They probably were in agony, but fear made them refocus their attention on staying alive.

Yes we understand adrenaline, but it's like they went from being hit and being in terrible pain to nothing at all in a second.  It's just a hollywood tool to add drama.

I suppose, the pain should have stayed on their faces, and the wounds that they recieved should have done quite a bit more damage than they did.  I agree, the pain transitions should have been smoother.

But that doesn't make good TV.

On the other hand, how do boxers manage to take such a beating?

They don't. Next chance you get, watch a boxing match carefully. If either one gets hit good, watch what he does. Some shots you can take with a 16oz glove hitting you, but others aren't easy to recover from, especially in the span of a few seconds.

As far as that hollyweird cat fight: when you get your head slammed into a heavy vanity mirror next to a wall, you're not going to be thinking straight for a few minutes.

Straight shot to the face with force enough to rock your head, you got your bell rung and you're going to be cross eyed for a bit.

High snap kick to the lower jaw after the shot to the face followed by a hard kick to the ribs, you're not seeing straight and breathing is anything but easy.

Noses were bleeding, or they weren't...make your nose bleed and see how long it drips without anyone doing anything to stop the bleeding.

The rest of the Matrix like fight sequence was just silliness to show some peeks under the dresses and make guys look for some tissue.

Thanks for the explaination, gyrene, I'll be sure to remember that when the next fight scene comes.  :aok

That's what I love about this place.  This thread made me think about the Miller Light chick fight commercial yesterday which led to a couple of hours of watching humorous and 'banned' commercials for a couple of hours.
