"Some recently declassified raw color footage featuring American aircraft in action over Japan during 1945". I checked out this and have never seen any of this footage. Not sure when it was released, So enjoy.

Nothing new. A lot of it has been making the rounds for many years. I recognized half of them by memory as being used ad nauseum in most Wings episodes, or those myriad documentaries that try to fill the void since Wings went off the air.

Most of it appears to be from the Iwo based VLR Mustangs. I'd agree that most is stuff that's been seen before. Always thought it interesting that the PTO was in color and the ETO was black and white. Not sure why that was.
