Carolina didn't go down as easily as expected, but sure didn't think they would put up such a good game.
Saints are not dominating any games for sure, I get the feeling they will struggle in the later part of the season if this keeps up. :uhoh

Not sure what's the matter but the saints just aint them selves so far...forget about Bush and Thomas...those two backs we used did great vs CAR...something just isn't clicking yet.

All I can say is if the 49ers lose another game before they actually win once, I am taking my avatar down - never been ashamed until this season...

Dear Jerry,
Thank you so much for keeping coach Cupcake and Rudy on the staff. After wasting 13 hours in five weeks watching arguably the most talented team in the NFL kill themselves with penalties, taking stupid time outs, blow easy interceptions, invent new ways to turn the ball over, and generally play like a bunch of dogs, you have freed up my Sundays for the rest of the year.

I was watching the Raider and Chargers game. I think if Noodle Arm and Butter Fingers didn't fail to make the Red Zone 1st down the 3rd I think it was, the outcome of the game might have been different. Decent game and even I have to give the Raiders credit. And the 49er game isn't over, yet

I heard in their last scrimage they took on the cheerleaders and lost, and the cheerleaders spotted them 20 points.

49ers have had 3 close games. They are bound to win a couple this year.
Last week against Falcons was pretty decent game. And I think the game yesterday wasn't too bad but I think Alex Smith should sit on the bench next game. He isn't a bad QB but he just has habit of running backwards and lobbing the ball anywhere for easy pick when pressured. I know Singletary chewed him out for that fumble-turned-defensive touchdown. I am sure they will win eventually, but once they do win at once, I will put up my avatar again :rock

Just heard the Lions actually won a game: Can't remember whom they played but score was something like 44-3.
I guess my 49ers are becoming the new Old Lions of 06 (or whenever season it was when they went all season with no wins)

With free agency, injuries , and chemistry between the players. IMO I think it is hard for any team to go back to back and win superbowl these days. Lot of season left.
