Title: Another build question
Post by: JustEric on October 06, 2010, 11:38:27 PM
How does the following build sound.  I don’t have a bunch of money so I want to create a budget setup that will be acceptable for playing AH.  I have two choices of Case and Power Supply combos.  I also have a couple different options for the graphics card.  One of the graphics cards is new and the other one, EVGA GTX 260, is used.  They both cost around the same amount.  One concern I have with the EVGA GTX 260 is how big it is. Does anyone know if the EVGA GTX 260 will fit into the cases I have mentioned below?  Please let me know what you think of my shopping list.  Thanks a bunch.

Thanks to Scotch for coming up my original list.

Choose the first Case/PSU option.  NZXT and Corsair are so much better than Rosewill, it's almost sad much much Rosewill stinks.
As for the GPU both the 5770 and 260 will run the game at close to maxed details and both should fit in the Evo.  Have to turn shadows to about 2-4K but aside from that it runs maxed at ~60 Frame Rate.

Now wait just a second...AMD 555 is 88$ now?  That's just not right....I just bought mine a few months ago for about $120!

x 3. NZXT cases are conducive for gamers.
