Title: questonon kill points

I have a question on Kill points, first what is it indicating? and second if you have a low hit percentage and a high kill points is that telling me that the few lucky hits I get are good damage hits?
could not find this info.

"Kill Points" is the damage you have inflicted on the enemy (+one single point for a kill). Low hit % and high kill points can indicate a few "good" hits, however it's more likely this is just the result of getting a huge absolute number of kills by flying many sorties, or killing more bombers than fighters. (Bigger & stronger planes take more damage before going down)
