Gents,
I want to be clear on a point that was raised by someone concerning rides in FSO and consequently landed some questions in my e-mails and PM's.
If you are assigned a certain ride by the CiC you are expected to fly that particular ride unless the CiC gives you permission not to.
I am sure many C.O.'s over the years have asked for a different ride come Friday night when it would not break any rules or limits of aircraft. Especially if that ride is a better fit for that squad. That is not a problem, so long as the CiC has given you permission. What is not allowed is for squads to just take a different/ preferred ride with out permission from the CiC. That will land a squad a quick ticket out of FSO.
Please fly your assigned ride unless you have permission from the CiC to do otherwise.

I think everyone needs to read this email I received, so it is clear.

To defend myself, I was simply suggesting o th CiC to maybe change the assigned ride for Bf 109G-6 to Bf 109G-6 or Bf 109G-2.
I think all went well though.

As CiC, I was asked by squads, on game day, if they could fly the G2. Alteration of orders was approved by me.
