Title: Books?
Post by: Larry on October 09, 2010, 03:36:01 PM
Are books allowed to be sold on here?

If they are I have a pair that I would like to get rid of.

"Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings 1933-1945: Photo Archive 1 (Hardcover)"  144 pages
Author: Ken Merrick
Dimensions: 12 x 8.9 x 0.7 inches

"Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings, 1933-1945, Vol. 2 (Hardcover)"  224 pages
Author: Ken Merrick
Dimensions: 12 x 9.2 x 0.9 inches

Both are a pretty good condition. Both have a few scratches and dings on the hardcovers and the "Vol. 2's" spine is loose, but the inside pages are as good as new.

I would think so as long as they are related to either computers or WW2.

Selling a 1946 version of Lord Of The Rings might be pushing it though.

I am very much interested. How much are you asking for the pair?

On amazon they go for about $80 for the pair. I was thinking $50 and Ill include shipping and insurance.

Without hijacking the thread, Ken's books are some of the best out there. He used tons of firsthand information. Some of his research is dated, especially in the late-war aspects of the usage of RLM 80 and 81 in conjunction with 74 and 75, but that's the way it works. You publish a book and then discover a whole bunch of new stuff afterwards.

These books are definite must-have books for anyone skinning, modeling, or interested in the wild world of Luftwaffe camo.

...and $50 for the pair is a STEAL.
