it was a matter of time before alabama would fall but they are still better than 118 other teams.
-

Never said anything about SEC or Big Ten. Oh, and dose not mean anything.

any team in the SEC can knock off any team in the SEC, and that was a proven today.

That gose for the same for Big 12, PAC-10, Big Ten, WAC, Big West so on. You get my point.

You always seem to take delight when a good team gets beat. I guess that happens if you live in Kansas though. ;)

i was up since 5am getting ready for the game! first ESPN's College Gameday did its show in the morning, which was awesome, and then the game!
8 sacks for 42 yds lost, Stephen Garcia 201 yds for 3 TDs, Marcus Lattimore 93 yds and 2 TDs, Ingram/Richardson held for a combined total of less than 100 yds!!

Was definitely a big day here in Columbia, SC. Gamenoodles have some talented freshmen and I can only see them improving next year. Garcia has also gone a long way from his early days as QB.

wow did I pick the wrong week to cut my uverse services back.... no televised TCU and the Bama game wasn't available on the basic channels here :cry
Apologies to Bama fans out there but YES!!!!!! I'd like all teams in front of the Frogs and Boise to have at least one loss. No I do not think that TCU and Boise are the best college teams in the land but I'd love to see the BCS crawfish and be hoisted up by their own petards what with all of their bovine feces arguments against a playoff.

Boise State should be #1.

Oh please, let them play a real schedule instead of the marshmellow league they play in now (WAC) put them in the PAC10, SEC , ACC any one of the Division 1 conferences and just like 95% of the sportscasters have all said they would have 1 to 2 losses if they played in anyone of the Division 1 leagues, seems to be a yearly whine and cry from the bosie state fans, they can change it all by going into a division one league now could'nt they? remove all doubt from the naysayers about how really good you are, get off the porch and run with the big dogs and go Div1....

that may be true, but remember week 1? they went into Hokie town against a very good Va Tech team, with all the momentum in the world. they beat tech, more like stomped all over them. granted tech lost to James Madison the very next week, but they are still a physical football team.
then look at week 4, when Boise played Oregon State at home. another athletic, physical football team, and they won. the argument that they would be bad in another conference is not valid because they are still in the top 5 among both offensive and defensive stats. i think Boise should be #3 because Ohio State and Oregon both have very good offense, decent defense, and both play in power conferences.
also, i do think Alabama should fall behind Boise/TCU in the polls

33 to 30 is not a stomping, how you came up with that i don't know, they won by 3... i would call that squeaking out a win, not stomping all over them Boise states total yards 383, Va Tech 314 looking forward to Hawaii and Nevada playing them, as far as James madison ummm who?

i only saw the first half of that game, my misguided friends told me it was a thrashing...

You know Ohio State will always be ahead of Oregon. But that could change with Michigan state could beat them. And/or Iowa and Wisconsin could pull the up set too. But Oregon could get knocked off by UCLA, UCS, Arizonian, and/or Oregon State.

i agree that Mich State could pull off the upset, but i dont see Wisconsin or Iowa knocking them off, certainly not both. in Oregon's case, i think they will beat USC because as you saw yesterday, USC played a very strong, tough, talented Stanford team, and the Cardinal just outlasted them, when last week, the same Cardinal team went into Autzen Stadium and was mauled in the 2nd half by the Ducks. UCLA, they have their moments, just ask the Longhorns. but dropping two games to Kansas State and Stanford early on, and to Cal this week, i think Oregon can take care of them.
you could make a valid case for Oregon State, but i think that Oregon will beat UCLA, USC, and Arizona, and that Ohio State, as much as i dislike them, should only be put on upset alert against sparty

something like that. but strength of schedule is what kills them in the rankings. sure i would like to see them #1 or #2, but its not gonna happen any time soon
-
A one loss Alabama or a one loss Ohio state would jump Boise State anyways.
-
if the frogs get to a BCS game and win it I'll be happy. Hopefully they wont wear the same jacked up unis they wore on opening day.
