I have to agree with Shifty........  wrghhhhewhhhuuuuh.  Maybe a tomato juice bath is in order.

I would be for it, if there were other pilots that flew it enough, but the long flight times and level of difficulty to maintain any control is a bit taxing to draw much if any fighters.

I'll never understand the DRI if I need the damn thing to fly it crashes. If I need it to land it keeps flying. It's like a freaking cat you smile when you think of it out in the rain.

yea i know what your saying, but last night we were upping from fields close together(you can up a v base) and the flight times were not bad at all, I actually had a very good time last night. I just dont want to fly ww1 all week  just me i guess. I would go in though if i knew we had a few to balance and do wingman tactics in a good even fight :aok

I hate WWI 1v1 (well, really I don't like 1v1 anytime), but the 10v10 furballs in the WWI Arena Night were a blast.

It takes a while getting used to the rag wings.  The first 10 minutes tonight it was Ground 3, Puma 0  :x   Those lawnmower engines up front gave me a headache after awhile with all that clattering.  :rofl

:salute joedog, jc97, puma and others.  Made my first AvA combat in a while fun  :D  I agree the distances were not as bad as in the WWI arena.   Shifty nailed it again, I found my most successful sortees were after I learned that when I ask the Dr to bank hard right it kicks back left.  Using that as the rule, I felt like I had some control  :rofl

Rudder is your friend!!!  :joystick:

Roll and rudder with the engine torque in a high-yo-yo fashion and she'll come around on a dime.

JHerne is absolutely right.  If a turn is done with ailerons alone, adverse yaw is produced causing the nose to swing to the outside of the intended turn and also decreasing the turn rate.  Rudder in the direction of the turn overcomes that and produces a higher rate of turn.  Rudder is even more critical when in a high AOA maneuver.   :salute
