Title: Text buffer colors while typing
Post by: shiv on October 09, 2010, 09:07:18 PM
Odd problem.  When I type on squad it's yellow text as I'm typing.  When I type on 200 yellow text until I hit enter, then white on 200.  Thought it was a bug but none of my squaddies have the same issue.  I tried moving around 200, typing in the box instead of ".radio 2 200"  but nothing helps.  Any one have/solve this issue?

Is this really an issue?

Seriously though, is it a problem or hindrance for you?  I can't open the game right now but the only thing I would think of is opening up your clipboard color settings and see if there is a color for that text.

Only problem is I need a fallback cos I never know if I'm typing on 200 or on squad.  Not really an issue.  But I wind up typing a lot of things twice...

Just look to see which button is pushed in.

Squad channel as in channel 4, or your squad's number channel? It'd be a bug if that's happening on channel 4, but all number channels are yellow in your box. 200 was modified to show as gray text in the buffer, but it is still a tunable channel and I would assume that there would be problems with modifying it in a player's type box that way because of the way the text system was coded.

Try deleting colors.cfg and msgbar.cfg (or rename them to colors.bak msgbar.bak) in your AH2/settings folder.
