So, whats the perk price for this guy.
-
His draft stock just went up somewhere. I'm with the announcers I've never seen a qb lay a defensive player out like that. :aok
-
That is badazz for a QB to tackle like that.
-
Hitting power of Lawrence Taylor, arm of Manning?
-
dang :O , never seen a quarterback hit like that
-
OMG it looked like he was playing....Football! :O
Right on brutha. :aok
-
If you watch the video, he knocked the kid out...
-
I noticed that too Stoney, I bet that kid felt embarrassed by that.

How do you know that?
-
He could read his lips sayin "No Ma...I dont wanna go to school"
-

Well, his head and body went rag-doll and he dropped the football. Your muscles involuntarily relax when you're knocked unconscious. Notice as he hits the turf, he doesn't move to arrest his fall, even though the QB failed to wrap him up completely. I could be wrong, but in my experience playing football for a lot of years, that looks 100% like he got knocked out.
-
Eh, I don't really see it. Oh well, doesn't really matter either way, it was one heck of a hit.
-
The guy got his bell rung but he wasn't out...he went down with both arms wrapped around the ball like he should have and was still fighting the QB to keep it even in the dog pile. Good hit, QB against a CB is a good match.
-
Nice helmet to helmet hit.
-
Nice helmet to helmet hit.
AFAIK its legal.
Its only a penalty if they don't have possession of the football, If they do have the football... Helmet to Helmet is ok.
-
heads are going to hit, what they look for in helmet to helmet is blatant out right head hunting. Thats the crown of his helmet hitting the bottom of the face mask, a good tackle that will happen most the time.
-
...was still fighting the QB to keep it even in the dog pile...
Devildog, you still got sight-black in your eye? :) The defender released the ball as soon as he got hit...
-
he was out on his feet, he was awake but unaware of what was going on. Been like that before at a game and no one had a clue till they looked at the tape. Recovered an onsides kick and was out soon as i got the ball, got up gave it to the ref then ran out on the field thinking we were on D, had no idea what had just happen.

Fair hit in my book, and the officiators in that game too.
Got to keep your head on a swivel.
