Title: Screen freeze when I use Range Channel

Any help out there for me. It seems like every time I hit my F12 key for range channel my screen freezes for 5 or 6 seconds. usually the first time I use it after logging on. It might be part of a larger issue as I am also have other problems recently like screen going black on me. It seems an every night thing now. Thanks for any tips.

This is normally associated with resource issues within the computer.  Basically, the game is trying to grab a sound buffer and there is no available memory so Windows frantically searches for something it can swap out to the hard drive, which can take several seconds to do.

Mostly occurs with onboard sound devices and/or USB based sound devices.

A DXDIAG output might help reveal what the problem is.
