Check out this life-imitating-art (think GTA) incident in Brazil with a soccer commentator reporting :t

Did they hire that Soccer announcer for the News now? :rofl
Sounds like it. A "play by play" on a police chase.
Waiting for the guy to yell goooaallllllllllllll.

I like the part where the one guy who got rammed by the suspect got out of his car to run, but one of the cops took off running after him.

As funny as it is, I can't blame the cop.. he probably just saw a guy fleeing the scene.. he didn't know if it was the one they were chasing or not.
In that case I would rather them erred in the side of caution.

Only 2 shot's fired?
That is amazing police restraint! I think I would have unloaded on that car :O

He's darn lucky he wasn't shot. Shots had already been fired, and he was fleeing the scene.

By the perp? Absolutely, he's lucky.

Well yes, that too. But I meant by the cop. The policeman who chased him initially demonstrated restraint and discernment in the midst of a firefight by not shooting him.
The department in Thornwood, N.Y. needs some of that.
