Title: Morning Wind: Joint Greek-Israel CSAR military exercise

A joint Greek Israel military exercise held between 11 and 14 of October in Greece at 117 FW at Peloponnesus. Code name was “morning wind” and main topic was CSAR operations. It is the second time that such an exercise is conducted between the two countries but the first involving CSAR operations. The Israel Air Force send 3 AH-64D Long bow «Saraph» plus one reserve, 3 UH-60A/L «Yanshuf» plus one reserve. From the Greek side Army Aviation took part with 2 AH-64A+ -plus one reserve- Hellenic Air Force with one AS 332 Super Puma and 6 fighters, for simulation of friendly and hostile forces.

Love the super heavy external fuel loadouts the Israeli AH-64s have.  You can really tell who the "away" and "homes" teams are there in that video for sure.

The youtube video has some good footage too, also a nice shot of the phantoms parked on the tarmac from outside the door of one of the UHs comming in for a landing.

Lots of Phantoms still in service as Wild Weasels. Big radar signature with no stealth technology.  Radar turns on...anti-radar missles come down...bye-bye bad guy radar.
