Title: Typical 82nd FG mission.
Post by: StokesAk on October 15, 2010, 07:02:15 PM
Seeing as out P-38s are in the shop for atrocious battle damage, ForkTail decided to put us in the rental P-39Ds. ForkTail said something about a special mission that would bring all the bishops to their knees!

Rolling on takeoff, with almost no gas in the tank!

We went in at 100ft. Lowered out settings to 'energy star' mode and went blazing in!

Accidentally we flew right past an enemy CV, it didnt matter that much, we were already spotted.

So then the fight started, enemy fighter showing up out of no where.

My wingmen died, I would now have to try to kill them all myself. Highly unlikely.

Not looking good at all.

By some stroke of luck, I was able to spray at a 190, two seconds later I went poof.

This is a typical day in the life of a member of the 82nd FG, secret missions to no mans land to end up having a decent fight and getting whooped!

TRY MY METHOD.

let the bad guy get in really really close. then shed parts. if you're lucky, they'll get tangled in his prop before you go down.  :devil

nice pics sir!!  :aok
