Title: DamnedSE is pulling out of FSO
Post by: Drano on October 16, 2010, 12:43:19 PM: Yeah it's true. Breaks my heart to do it but we just haven't been getting the turnout required and that's been going on for months. We've been scraping on the minimum or only getting 1 or 2 frame after frame and that can't go on. It's not fair to everybody else. I know as one of the guys that has to come up with the plan from time to time that when that happens it makes a big hole in that plan whether it be on attack of defense and it just messes things up for everyone and last night's frame was a good example of that. But as far as I'm concerned we just can't be that guy making the hole anymore. It wasn't like this was a last straw thing. We've actually been discussing this for quite some time internally. The timing of taking my turn as CiC one last time pretty much nailed it for me. Now I won't mess up the rotation. So it sucks but it's the right thing to do.

Your guys can even have your own flight within the squad so that you can stay together if you want. Offer will always be there :salute

Many great times were had, and I will never forget them. Heck, even the bad, when we got our butts kicked FSO's were fun. Sometime in the future the Damned may be back as a squad, but life gets in the way of our fun occasionally. Godspeed to you all, and a BIG :salute
