Knocked off Nebraska... :aok
And the dreaded and feared Horned Frogs polished off BYU....
I hate to root against Ohio State buuuuuutttt ...
sorry OH friends ... GO BADGERS!!! mess the BCS up BUT GOOD!!!!
-
thanks Nebraska and Wisconsin

I was hoping that Nebraska would win. As far for Ohio state, it was a matter of time before they loose. I sure MSU will beat them too. But on the bright side, it shows that Big Ten is stronger then some ppl say, Oregon at 1 # now and Bodies, hopefully, will be 2#.
-
now we just need somebody to scratch out a win against Auburn, LSU, and OU.
Looks like the TCU / Utah game could be pivotal. I love my froggies but I think it would be fantastic to have Oregon, Boise, TCU, Utah, any combo of the 4 playing for the national championship and I honestly don't care which two. No offense intended to anyone. I just HATE the BCS and really want a true playoff system.

I still believe that OU and Auburn will jump boise and TCU.
I believe that Auburn will fall before the end of the year though.
-
lets MSU beat mich lastweek and iowa today and michiganlost to illinois!
-
It's a sad sad day here in Nebraska. Texas played well and Nebraska completely beat themselves.
So many dropped touchdown passes. I knew it was not going to be a cake walk but did not anticipate how horrible we played.
-
well it's good to see Nebraska back on their way up regardless.

Won't happen this week based on the polling criteria. Boise will be #1, Oregon, then TCU. If everybody that is now undefeated stays that way it will probably wind up being a mix of LSU, Auburn, OSU, and MAYBE Michigan, duking it out for #1. I haven't looked at the schedules so I'm pretty much going on conjecture here. Even if Utah stays undefeated TCU's schedule won't generate much love in the computer rankings. Same goes for Boise. Oregon I have no idea other than to say if I could land a job in Medford making the equivalent I make here I'd be gone tomorrow.

Ive never understood college ball and the whole need for the rankings. NEB needs some receivers.
-
The Huskers underestimated the power of the underdog - which is what we were - the underdog. It happens. It has happened to us in years past and it can happen to anyone. It's the factor that makes college football fun.
If Nebraska and Texas were to meet again in a 12 championship by some set of circumstances, I'd probably expect the Huskers to win - just like I did this one.

Where's Grizz?
I think I heard a rumor about a tri state killing spree or visiting the library of Congress...

Where's Grizz?
He's breaking into the Smithsonian so he can steal their 262 and he's gonna fly down to Austin and pwn all air traffic within a 50 mile radius. :D

Oh he watches. Sometimes he just doesn't like what he sees. :rofl

lol, maybe he should look for a team that wins more often.

Oklahoma the new number one? Didn't see that coming.
I picked them for my national champion but I figured they'd sneak in there late in the year, not this early.
-
well it looks like I'm going to have to root for MO and whoever plays LSU next week
-
Ohio sports is right up there with military intelligence.
:furious
