Like i implyed my Xp machine is having trouble taslking to others. My other machines can see and access it and others but it cant access others except one a 98 machine downstairs. It cant even access the other XP.

From what I've read XP home isnt supposed to network. Ya gotta buy the pro version for that. If ya got the pro version theres some interesting info about on ms's web site about xp and 98.

What do you mean accessing?
Just through tcp/ip? or File sharing through netbios?
What do you want to do? share internet access, transfer files or "share files and printers"

Not true Crash. XP Home has all the same bits that XP Pro has in terms of basic networking functionality. The things the home version doesn't have are the bits that you would use in an Active Directory network. Basic networking functionality should work fine.
As jpeg mentioned, we need some more information here. What are you trying to do, what is the layout of your network, what protocols are you using, etc.
