and I believe A6Ms are next.
To differentiate I think HTC needs to add the label 'model' after A6M# series, for example:
A6M2 Model 21

Yes, whats up with all the dancing banana's lately on the forum?

So you don't mean the pattern of new guys asking for every aircraft listed in Wiki? :D
Seriously, why 3 minor Zeke variants instead of the Ki-43? Not that we're getting the Oscar next, just curious.

We should definitely get the most widely used fighter of the IJA before we get any A6M variant.

I cannot stop drooling over the G4M to even think they you update or add more Zeros....... :x :x :x

I could easily ask for 3 ki-43... but you'll just dismiss it as 'minor', but minor changes made them more capable than previous variant.
here's how they parallel...
In early war: A6M2, Ki-43-I
mid war: A6M3, Ki-43-II
late war: A6M5, Ki-43-III

Actually, one of the Zekes you wished for was actually a downgrade from previous models that it only had a very limited production run as a new and improved variant was being developed and produced.
ack-ack

So this make sense now?
A6M2 Model 21
A6M3 Model 22
A6M5 Model 52

G4M will be a hanger queen, and will mostly see use in the scenarios and snapshots

20mm tail turret. Hell no! :)

Make that 20mm tail turret and 20mm top turret for G4M2. We need G4M2 specifically for arcade rooms (main arena)

Since we don't have any Ki-43s now, how could adding one be a minor variant?

Well the first ki-43 that appeared in 1941 was waay underpowered and was only armed with peashooters and barely cracked 300mph.
The second (1942) had heavy machine guns and a minor bump up in horsepower and speed @ 330mph.
The third and final version of ki-43 (1944) gets a bigger engine and top speed is 360mph.

And which one of those is a minor variant to the Ki-43 we don't have now?
Do you fly online in Aces High?

The Oscar is next? Yaaaa

I think he was using minor to dismiss it as "unimportant" or "inferior" to the MA planeset. At least, that's how I read it. I don't agree, though.

A great many of us look forward to FSO and Scenarios. We appreciate the History and immersion aspects of the game. Substituting aircraft one for another mars the historical aspect of a scenario or fso.
Many of us don't need the latest,greatest,fastest.....we appreciate accuracy and history. The Betty is a welcome addition to our SEA arenas. The MA is point and click...run and gun, with even air to air fights a rarity.
Now....or should I say next? The Beaufighter and the He-111!

I was saying that if A6M gets redone I think they should have one (or 2) more A6M variant(s), and if we do get an Oscar, make that 3 Oscars :aok

CAC BOOMERANG!!

Well you can certainly wish for all 6. :D
I would rather see the Oscar than 2 more Zekes but you're correct that a variant is easier than a new aircraft.
There are a few models in AH that need updating but I think the Zekes still look pretty good compared to the FM2 for example.

Actually I used "minor variant" to mean varying slightly from what we currently have in contrast to something completely new.

I'm thinking after so long, and so many requests, that the "Beau" is coming, maybe the Boomer too!
Long overdue.
