Title: Tempest Pilot Head Bug
Post by: FLS on October 18, 2010, 08:13:52 PM
The Tempest and Typhoon have similar cockpits and canopies but the pilot's head in the Typhoon can be raised about 18" higher than in the Tempest. Please adjust the Tempest pilot head position so that it can also go a foot above the closed canopy.  Alternately you may want to look at lowering the max head height for the Typhoon. Thank you.

Typhoon = new model
Tempest = old model.

Patience.

I understand they're nearly identical. That's my point.  I thought a different approach might clarify the issue.  :D

SuperFly's last comment on this was "I'm still not seeing a problem.  What exactly is the bug?"

Another way to look at it. In the Tempest, from the "home" head position, you can tap the page up key 6 times and move up. In the Typhoon you can tap the page up key 15 times and move up.
