Title: sheep herding
Post by: CAP1 on October 18, 2010, 09:08:46 PM
i hit the front in my brand new sopwith camel. i was told it was superior to the germans aircraft, although the wing struts looked suspiciously like toothpicks. the propeller looked like a big tree branch.
the covering looked suspiciously like my sisters skirts, and my neighbors panties. this was a bad sign. what happened to them/? who the hell stole their stuff, and glued them onto this frightening machine they called an aeroplane?

i brushed that all aside, and climbed in, looking for the starter button. dam.....none. i called one of the linemen to hand prop my aeroplane. he refused to make eye contact. could he be the one that stole the clothes that now covered my aeroplane? i made a note to interogate him upon my victorious return.

he props the engine, and it feels like there's a dam spinning top up there. who the hell designed this aeroplane for us? anthony fokker himself??
after multiple attempts, i get her off the ground, and am scared. she wants to go left all the time.

buzzing along at a fine altitude of 700 ft, i spot a d7 up around 1,500 ft. i am not worried, as i am told my sopwith is superior. i note a dr1 in the distance. no problem. with my sisters and neighbors clothing flying with me, i shall herd these germans like sheep, and return home victorious.

i managed to control the d7, but that dr1...he is a bad bad german. he keeps wiggling and flipping over....

and seeing as i didn't want to face those whose clothing had put my sopwith in the air.....i sang as i submerged.

they went into hiding. once they realized it was wildesau in the dr1, they knew they'd better run before he had the chance to land.  :bolt: :bolt:

The word is the New Zealand farmer was out in the paddocks & the ewe's got wind of it & took off. Here is a shot of them heading as far away from the farmer as possible.

that's about what i witnessed on the ground when i heard wildsaus "dr1 laugh". sounded like a cross between the shadow, and bugs bunny. it was truly frightening. i can understand why the sheep ran.  :uhoh

Ok people, that's enough potty mouth talk about the sheep in the WW1 arena.... I happen to be Officer in Command of the sheep in there, which are all designated as official DoD Property. Anyone suggesting or inferring unnatural acts on said sheep will receive an official reprimand. Anyone actually caught interfering in an unnatural way with said sheep will be subject to courtmarshal.

And if anyone so much as lays a hand on Madeleine (the one with the pink bow) I'll shoot the man myself.
