HTC:
I hope I don't have to provide a film of this. But very often, almost always, when I come around a corner to a nme tank unwary of me and I fire point blank on him..I mean very close and in the butt, the rounds go right through the tank. I know another thread might have listed this but recently I have found others when this happens.
Last night I was the one in which rounds went right through me as fired by airstud. He was in an M4 I was in a T34/85. Of course I killed him and the tiger he was protecting because his first round was ineffective at close range. But mine weren't for some reason. I know how frustrating it was for him. Others have thought I was cheating when this "point blank" bug goes my way. I have been questioned 2-3 times in the last week.
Also, when I get in a Tiger, all other tanks sound like tigers. I have Mitsu wav.sound files...any reason for this?

While you think just mentioning a bug, that's obvious and regular to you, sending a film is a vital component to finding and fixing a problem like this.
Easy to do as an email attachment to Skuzzy at support at(@) hightechcreations DOT(.) com. If it happens as often as you report, shouldn't be longer than a day or three to get a film.
I don't believe HTC can address problems with any sound-pack. Probably best to post a question in http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/board,71.0.html forum.

I think the tank sound thing is with the add on sounds as I have noticed it with all of them. I run Ranger's and whatever GV I am in (M4, Panzer, Tiger, etc...) all tank guns firing sound the same. This has been going on for a long time. :salute

On the point blank tank fire bit.
Last night I flew support over several tank battles. About half of the cases I watched where a green guy would pull up point blank and fire. He whould fire several times point blank then be killed by a single response round. This was between lesser tanks than the tiger. So too I saw the same thing with the red guys pulling up close and firing point blank. About half of them fired several rounds then died to a single green guy response.
In the last 6 months ATT has three routers just into Texas that jump my ping time from 43 to 85. I have 8 hops to the game server. At the arena selection screen I used to get ping time of 85-90. It's been 100-120 for the last 6 months. Is it possible that is what half of those tankers are really experiencing? Those ATT routers.

One year ago I upgraded my ATT DSL modem. My login server changed along with my route to [206.16.60.39] and reduced from 14 hops at a 63 count to 8 hops at a 84 count. Since then hops 5,6, and 7 have caused no end to rubber bullets on some occasions. I just figured during the bad economy more people are staying home and using the Internet along with ATT saving money by cutting back on maintenance(employees).
Skuzzy if you want to back trace me: 70.132.7.99

I think Bustr is right on the point. I have been hoping for some good news on cure for "rubber bullet" vs. one shot killz. I can see how loss packets and delays in hops might explain some of my rounds disappearing into cyberspace. What is VERY frustrating is that the quality connection seemingly depletes my armor or magnifies my damage (this I can only suspect, but is backed up by what bustr observed his countryman doing).
In fact, I actually was browsing the Bug Reports and Technical Help forums to see if I could get help in solving this phenomenon, when I came upon this thread.
This was prompted by my encounter the other day with Kvuo75, where I ranted on 200 for about 5 minutes about this very thing. I have to apologize to Kvou75, because my frustration with his dead eye accuracy in a manned field gun, and my inability to do little more than knock some dust off the wings in one, I used a questionable tone as to why and how, he was ALWAYS the one landing the one shot kills on me. It is definitely not his problem that everything on his end is working fine.
