I wonder which is better at dealing with 109F,G2/G6 and fw 190As?

I'm assuming it's the P-40E in question, which 39 are you referring to, the D or Q?

i've never flown any of these aircraft outside of the AvA.

 in my pee40e, i seemed to do pretty well against the 109's. to be honest, i never knew which ones i was fighting, as i can't id them further than a 109 in the fight.
 i couldn't for the life of me get one off my butt though, once they got saddled up.

 i flew one of the 109's once a couple of weeks ago, 'cause i wanted to try to keep even sides. i didn't get to get any good fights against any american iron though, which is probably better........

also, most if not all of the pee40e vs 109 fights were at 5k alt and below. more often than not, below 1k alt. i was, and still am honestly surprised at the performance of the pee40. also kind of wondering why it doesn't see more usage in the mains.

I like the P40 for on the deck fighting. Especially vs. CV planes, where most fight are low and slow anyway. Id have to go with the P40. It is afterall 1 higher than the 39  :noid
