1) last week in the ava, was all ww1 crates. i flew the sopwith and the bristol. never got the chance to try the german rides. i've noticed people talking about flying ww1 rides, and then having trouble coming back into ww2 rides.
i dunno if it's my imagination or not, but if anything, it feels like i'm handling my pee38 a little better after them. anyone else notice improvement after flying those old crates?
2)tonight in the ava, as per usual, since it was available, i was flying my trusty old pee38J o doom. but i was noticing something weird. she seemed to always want to stall to the left. never had that before. she seemed to get into stalls a bit quicker...and when riding the stall, the edge seemed a bit more "jagged" than normal.
the left stall thing i noticed a couple of times trying to rope a 109. i should've been able to rudder either left or right as i hung on the props, but instead, she always fell left.
anyone else notice this? or am i just being hamfisted tonight?

Wind? :headscratch:

Cap that will most likely be your stick complaining after being thrashed in the WW1 arena. The old buses require savage control inputs during combat, whereas the WW2 stuff requires a little more finesse, more of a smooth input. Standard pots will experience wear and tear over time, and beating the whatsit out of 'em might have suddenly exposed you to 'old pot syndrome' whereas normally you would have had a slow onset. Also, you may have drifted out of callibration, again rapidly due to the beating. Spray some WD40 or RP7 into your pots (even better get some evaporative electrical contact cleaner spray) and try doing a recal. Hope this helps.

My gunnery, which was never good in the first place, went straight into the loo. A week or so ought to sort that. On the upside it seems my e management is a little better and I'm getting on sixes a bit quicker dying a little later. Except when Jherne is sitting in a GV on the base I was deacking then it's instadeath.

theres a 10mph wind in the arena up to 6k.
-
Ive noticed that since 2 updates ago with every plane.
-
I had thought about the wind thing, as one of the fights started around 10k(i was the low guy at that alt, but not by much).
earlier fights though, were on the deck. one was against jolly, one against imadot. in both instances, i had suffered departures....both to the left. a couple of times, i pulled a little hard coming over the top, and put her into a stall....not delibretly.....and she was very very "wobbly/wiggly" recovering, and airspeed was showing just short of 200, nose down.
this all happened last night. it's the second time i've flown since being in the ww1 rides. the first time, i didn't notice any of this. it's part of why i'm wondering if it's my imagination or not....

That would explain a typing on climbout auger..

You got your bombers confused. You were in a 110 :rofl

i use auto take off if i'm typing. even then, you can see the aircraft being pushed to the side slightly

nah....i don't fly the 110 unless i'm porking a base. thus, i've never flown it in the AvA, as i don't need to pork bases in there. there's always someone willing to fight, even if they're at the disadvantage.
jolly took me on last night, with a serious disadvantage. the result was the same as when he took me on with him having an advantage. :devil

autoclimb is the first thing I canceled out when I got back. But it is a PITA sometimes.
-
not auto climb.
when i spawn, auto take off is enabled. if i don't touch anything, it takes off on it's own, and climbs out. this way i can instigate probl.......eerr....i can type nicely to people while i climb out.
auto climb would be shift x. to disable it, simply move something.

I meant autotakeoff.. autoclimb is right thumb to the right :D

lol
i forgot.....sooner was in there last night.......danielts landed somethig like 6 kills. two were me.......i told him those didn't count. he said that those were the only ones that did, 'cause the other 4 were sooner bailing anytime something bad got near him. he was porking the base that the luftwienies were flying out of.........

Perhaps your port blender is worn out and the starboard one is overcompensating... :noid

Wind has no effect on flying except in relation to ground position. Cap1 I would just check joystick calibration.
