Title: 45 bish logged in last night - 13 (almost 30%) were no where to be found
Post by: Erkel on October 22, 2010, 01:27:43 AM
Did a tally last night.  Clicked on all bish in the roster and did a go-to twice.  First time to see if I could find them, second time later to see if they had moved to another base.

Out of 45 players logged in game, 13 players (almost 30 percent) were no where to be found.

My concern is that late at night Bish ENY gets ridiculously high (in the 20's, somtimes 29).  If players would kindly log out when they're done for the night (or day) I think it would help the ENY tremedously.

Following is the list of players I could not find:
                        22898                           joec
                        ck4echo                        kcboom1
                        col999                          ronin
                        cotton                          slowpoke

I'd advise taking the names out of this if you want this thread to live.

That being said, people pay to use the arena's how they want.  There was a big thread not too long ago on the subject if you want to search for it.

I was on last night flying for the bishops and saw a guy that wasn't fighting. Instead he was running around trying to locate all the other bishop players. My concern is that the ENY gets to high and here we have this guy not contributing to the war effort. If players would please log out of the arena when they are worrying more about what others are doing instead of fighting it would help lower the ENY tremendously.

You have a choice.  You can always switch to the country with the lowest numbers if ENY becomes a problem.

The flip side is they may not be able to get back IN

Yes, that is correct, would be a complete headache if it fluctuated with people flying.

                        ikilsu2

Who are you to question any of this?   When I logged (about 1:45am) in there were 26 Knights, 31 Rooks and 49 Bish.     The Perk Bonus for Knights was outstanding, because the Rooks, then the Bish had numbers.   The Bish seemed to be getting annihilated at A12 (Rook), from what SHawk was saying on 200.

But simply put, if you're a "this Country only" squad and the ENY is that high?  Deal with it.

I find ENY only gets *really* annoying during CV ops, but then again, I did chase down some buffs with an FM2 (I had to flap my arms really hard....that was tiring).  :joystick:

Anyways, I still think logging out is the courteous thing to do.

I Am, I Am.............  Sadly.......................    And as the WidowMaker points out, you just have to deal with it.  Stop flying the Pony and grab a Jug or 109 or a Mossie...  Dare I say, learn how to fly the "tough" planes.

It would be a more accurate representation of what the role of Eny is supposed to be playing in the game though.

another ENY whine thread has been recorded, ENY is real easy.... learn to fly the high ENY planes, when you start killin low ENY planes with them that's telling you something, either your getting better always fighting using high ENY planes OR the low ENY plane PiLut just sucks (hense the reason he always flys the low ENY planes) the majority of my flights are high ENY planes

First, I believe the ENY effect on the game is very near non-existent.  Having an ENY, unless it is 29, should not effect someone's game experience in the least bit.  Each and every mission or role that is desired to be had has a very useful 20-30 ENY airplane available.  At 29 ENY, I'd enjoy the ten 109G-6's fight vs four La7's.  Free your mind and your arse will follow!   :)

Secondly, I think it would not be out of line for HTC to instigate an auto kicker into the game.  Sit idle for X amount of time and "puuf" out of the server ya go.  Idle being no activity, basically sitting in the tower nappin'.

Thirdly... I find nothing wrong with posting the names of the those.  The information is not confidential, it can and was found right on the game server.  Relax, Francis.  :)

Carry on, as you were.   r  :salute

Try upping off a CV during a base take with ENY.  No Hogs, No Cats.  You get TBMS, Seafires and FM2's...either you're easy prey (TBM) or you can't carry enough ords to drop the base before everything pops again.

If you have "No Hogs", you have ENY at least at 25. ENY that high is relatively rare and most of the time for short periods only, also it means that your side is enjoying a massive numerical advantage in the arena. Get into your F4U-1 and fly cover for the TBMs. CV ack puffy helps you getting the necessary alt advantage.

If you still get Seafires, you will get most of the Hogs and the Hellcat too. Last time I checked (few weeks ago) Seafire had ENY 15, and so did D-Hog and F6F.

                        22898                           joec
                        ck4echo                        kcboom1
                        col999                          ronin
                        cotton                          slowpoke
                        harley27                        thatguy1
                        ikilsu2

So, the assumption here is that only Bish do that and the other two countries had 100% of their players in a fighter or gv, right?  :uhoh
