Title: Controller recommendations?

I'm looking to ditch my battle-weary MS Sidewinder in favour of a more advanced set-up with separate throttle and rudder pedals.
Does anyone have any recommendations for equipment?
I'd prefer USB and an 8-way hat is a must.

I'm a previous beta tester for TM and have owned TM, CH and Saitek gear, my opinion is that Saitek currently is the best bang for the buck, USB, X36 combo (throttle/Joystick) for approx. $90 bucks is a good deal.  I got mine for $70 after rebate.

Next in line would be Ch products, expect around $180 for both throttle and Joystick.

Thrustmaster would be last in my opinion, but then again, I haven't owned a TM set-up since I got rid of my F22 (which, incidently caused me many pains due to spring tension).
