It looks like a nice job but it's hard to tell in that lighting, the fan spinning wasn't helping either. :lol

I'd like to see it outside in natural light and maybe with some sun shinnying on it.

Atleast you didn't have fluorescent lights on.

    :salute

Real nice, see take it outside so the color pops!

I used to hand polish cars and you always had to take them outside to really see how they looked, under lights everything looks diferent.

I hope you didnt take my first comment to be critical because it wasnt meant to be,I just wanted to see the real color show through.

 WTG looks really good. What paint did u use and gun? Paint looks expensive hehehe.

I'm just done doing my daughter's Mustang outside with PPG single stage urethane on an old HLVP gun ... not a bad paint, but a bit peacky on the settings. Shooting the primer surfacer was a lil *&^%$#@ but it was 102 outside ... and since I didn't sand it well enought I have quite some orange peel. But meh ... good enought for a highschool parking lot old car.

the color is a 3 stage paint. first i sealed it with PPG sealer, then sprayed a dark gunmetal basecoat made by matrix paints, the 2nd stage was House of Kolor Apple Red Kandy UK11, and finally a clear coat. The gun i used to spray was a SATAjet 3000B

I agree, without the sun the color looks more of a wine/purple shade, yet in the sun the candy red pops real nice.

Once the paint cures a month or so it should polish up to near gem quality! :aok

Get that dam thing put back together and down here low!

The ride from St. Cloud to Cocoa Beach is boring as hell without you...  :D

(and there's no gravel here either!)  :t

I wish I could man, but I think it will be sold hopefully soon then I'll get another one come spring.  You can bet when I get one we'll tear it up from St. Cloud to Cocoa and wherever else.
