I`ve noticed that sometimes when I exit a tank at a spawn point, (outside of the base), I have gotten the message that, "you have successfully landed", instead of, "you have been captured/ditched".......Obviously if you take out a Tiger you want to exit successfully and save the perk points....So, is there a trick here that I have missed, or a glitch?.....

As long as there are no enemies within 5k, 6k to be safe, you can end sortie anywhere, including on an enemy base itself.
PT boats do not apply. I'm relatively certain they are impossible to land successfully anywhere ever. :frown:

It's not about the spawn point. Spawn points do not have any influence on the landing message you get.
When ending your mission in enemy territory (=base closest to you is an enemy one), you will get a "landed" if no enemy is around you, a "captured" if there is. Yes, you can even successfully "land" your Tiger on an enemy base. For landing in friendly territory it's similar: Enemy proximity causes a "ditch" here (unless you have been damaged, you will get a "crashed", unless you are sitting on concrete when towering out).

You can land them when being within your TG's perimeter.

Ahhh...Now I understand...TY

Actually, unless your fleet runs off and leaves the area, PT's can land safely. I've done it a few times, and I know of others who regularly land their kills in a PT. Pull up along side any vessel slow down to the same speed, get as close as possible then click end sortie. I personally try to gently bump it at the same time I click it. :old:

long as your "existing" at the spawn you should be fine. :D

Hmmm, maybe he was looking for useful information? Just a thought. :neener:

That's the problem right there.... I rarely leave my existence back at the spawn point.......

if you're moving when you end the sortie it will be a ditch or capture as well.
