Try as I might I cannot land IN the tree, I keep exploding. After much research I have found the following documentation that demonstrates the trees are clearly over modeled.

I'd bet the broken leg he received was from attempting to walk away, rather than from the crash itself.
-
Crash? That looks more orderly and controlled than most of my so called "landings".

Nothing wrong with the tree modeling. Please observe this old picture where I quietly sits in a tree, studying bighorns highly sophisticated gopher hunting skills...

Probably not as ugly as landing on the cruiser after the flat-top was sunk. :banana:
-
Back when we had those flat top layered trees I once bumped into one with my tiger and it sent my flying. A moment later I found myself upright in the top of one with a nice line of fire on the approach to town. :aok

LOL that must be it Soulyss, as you can see I made a perfect landing in a tree. :neener:

Was getting the tiger down from the tree a little trickie? :joystick:

Folks, I am just a crappy pilot, so I try to learn at every opportunity...
After studying the picture I still can't figure out is - is Bighorn pulling a split-S or is that an outside loop?
<S>

The trees are in fact overmodeled. If you look closely you will see that they are Acer Aviorerdae, otherwise known as the common kite-eating tree of "Peanuts" Fame. Only now they eat planes.
Of course, the squirrel ack doesn't help either.

Today, while cruising at treetop level in my A20 looking to start a fight, I sneezed.
While a sneeze seems innocent enough, it caused me to nose down into the trees, and clip my tail. Here is the strange part - I had NO damage, and after I regained control, I flew away!
