It's not a good business model to make everything right away
Look what happened to air warrior and fighter ace
They had every axis-allied planeset
where are they now?
and From what I understand is that the games I mentioned had no more room to grow. Air warrior for example had every plane from ww1 to korea.
we can just keep dreaming about new planes because I think it's of HTC's interest to slow the growth/progression of planes here. At the same time I think HTC's gotta be manuverable and keep up to date on demographic and consumer trends :aok

They are gone because they could not evolve. Nothing to do with planes at all.
-
if anything planes will draw people to play, its all about advertising, and the people whorun the buisness.

IMHO
The demise of AW had nothing to do with the plane set.
I believe EA's intention was to gain the customer base to play their "other" games.
They never intended to continue AW (even though they claimed they would).
I'm kind of glad they squashed it.
That's when I came over to AH. :)

I don't know where you get your information, but you should research it a bit more. EA bought out AW to get the code for the "on-line" setup. AW had less planes than we do now in AH2. Fighter Ace was the same as far as planes. They had some we don't have, but AH2 has some that FA didn't. EA shut down AW because they were tied up with "Janes" and were going to push that. FA went down due to money troubles, NOT because they ran out of things to update.

EA killed off Motor City Online, the most fun I've ever had on line gaming. EA is run by tards.

Last EA game I had fun with was NHL 95 for the SNES. Still got it somewhere, man that was some good times!

EA polishes and polishes but all they produces is shiny turds
