My handsomehunk had a chair run over an SD card - so its sorta bent and cracked along the long axis of the card. I offloaded all the data just to be safe - but the internals appear to be intact with no issue. Is there a way to get an empty case - or is it easier just to superglue the open case?

Superglue probably. I have an old usb drive that has had it's case cracked in two separate pieces for years (so that they fall completely off if you bend it wrong but kinda stay in place normally) and it's working flawlessly.

I've never heard of an SD card case being sold separately. Your best bet may just be to buy a new SD card and transfer the data over. That way you don't need to worry about the SD card falling apart in card reader some day should you try and glue it back together.
