Title: Another great night!
Post by: DEECONX on November 03, 2010, 08:02:04 PM
Just had another great night in the AvA! Me and Dicho were terrorizing in our B-25's. Well, sorta... :lol

Anyways, it was fun trying to dogfight zekes and Ki's in my 25C and overall just a fun time as usual AvA! So to you AvA regulars, as long as I like something in the plane list (or not, might just try it) expect me more often.  :aok

P.S. Will post some screenies when I get a chance!

Wreaking havoc in the B25 laughing the whole time.  I didn't hit a thing but chuckled to myself the entire night.  Great attitudes all throughout although I have to admit I kind of vulched a guy tonight.  I'm not particularly happy with myself about that.  But all in all a greatness time.  :D

It's probably the weather system out in your neck O the woods.....if that sort of thing has an effect on you.   Or, it could be withdrawal if you haven't been on AvA in the last couple of hours.  :salute

ya know? you could be right. we just had a fairly extreme weather change....and it seems that the last couple of times we've had em, i've gotten nailed.

flotsum mentioned something in the oclub thread that i made.....about a pinched nerve....and coincidentally, i torqued my back the day before yesterday pulling a transmission out of a ranger........2 good possibilities there........

i did make a couple screenies though.....just that i kinda passed out before uploading em......

A large change in the atmospheric pressure can have that effect.  It certainly does tweek my sinuses for a couple of days until the pressure returns to normal.  Hope you are feeling well soon, my friend!   :D

Cap,

Seriously you may want to get checked out.

Headaches can be a sign of something a lot worse, especially if it's a new kind of pain you haven't experienced before.

i may go to the docs for it.....it's not new though.

back when i worked for the previous owner of this shop(the one i own now) i was having these headaches every single weekend. then they got to the point of every other day. i quit working for him, and suddenly the headaches stopped.
it wasn't the shop, but rather his personality, and his kids that needed their tulips kicked.

now, as i mentioned before, i've had a few from when the weather does these extreme changes.......

my fear with the doc, is that these days, all they wanna do is pump us full of drugs.......i don't like taking anything more than asperin, or tylonol when/if i can help it.

I have a story i could tell you about a co worker and severe headaches, but i wont. Lets just say that if it gets bad enough, go get it checked out sir <S>

Being in the Medical Profession and dealing with these types of Calls on a daily basis, From what I have gathered you mentioned they stopped when you left the shop the first time. Now that your owner of that said shop I am wondering if there could be something faulty with the ventilation system, breathing in all those hazardous fumes will not help you out with the Headaches, I am leaning towards Carbon monoxide Poisoning or something along those lines.

Just my professional honest opinion I have been a Fire/medic for the last 23 yrs and thinks that is what or could be or another situation is a small bleed but that doesn't add up to the scenerio you  presented.

hey Larry,

thank ya sir!! i appreciate the advice.  the ventilation is ok there, and when i first had the new heater installed last fall, i kept my emissions analyzer running to monitor co, and hc. i figured it was my best way to make sure the exhaust stack wasn't leaking into the shop.

when i worked there before, the headaches came from constant tension. even in the summertime, when all the doors were left fully up, i'd get them. the guys family didn't help either. i had to deal with his kids running around there on a regular basis....caught one of em trying to steal my tools...and i couldn't touch the little poopwad. the previous owners family, and his attitudes(thinnking they were perfectly fine, and i was the problem) is what i think was causing them back then.

for now, todays seems to have cleared up, but i'm still not logging into the game tonight.....just gonna take a HOT bath, and go to sleep early.

i WILL however, keep my emissions analyzer running tomorrow, just to verify that i'm not poisoning myself. it would suck to wake up in the hospital, or dead.

thankss all too, for the words of advice!!

As much as I'd love to inherit all your AH stuff I'd rather have you around to teach me how to loose many parts and make it back to the runway in ye old peee38 ;)

Besides Shirley would FAIL without Laverne.  That would be like Moe and Larry without Curley.

Good to Hear John
Sitting here thinking of what ya been saying it seems to me to be adding up to CO Poisoning you can be ventilated the best you can but a system can fail with out you knowing the only was is to have Blood work drawn to see what your Co2 levels are in your blood. if that is not the case then I am puzzled. You would be considered in the Field when I can not figure out someones problem I clasify them as a Medical Mystery lol besides I want ay back in AvA cause the 38 Kills I got tonight I would of not have gotten on you but I am drawing a blank on hoe to pull screenies again from films
