how do i, cept upon boot up, find the CPU speed from within windows???

 Or got to Zdnet or Cnet and down load the program Wintune97 or 98 and use that. It'll test your system etc too.

Or grab this nifty little program called "WCPUID" at the bottom of this page at: http://www.ocshoot.com/downloads.htm (http://www.ocshoot.com/downloads.htm)   It works great,it's small (856k) and it gives plenty of info about your current processor speed.

 It's at the very bottom of the page under "hardware utilities".
