- WikiLeaks plans to post Russian documents; Moscow not pleased
- On Wednesday, an official at the Center for Information Security of the FSB, Russia's secret police, gave a warning to WikiLeaks that showed none of the tact of the U.S. reply to the Iraq revelations. "It's essential to remember that given the will and the relevant orders, [WikiLeaks] can be made inaccessible forever," the anonymous official told the independent Russian news website LifeNews.
- In June, a Russian analog to WikiLeaks called Lubyanskaya Pravda published a series of documents it claimed to be top-secret FSB files detailing the agency's operations in the former Soviet Union and conflicts with other Russian security forces. The site stayed online for less than three weeks

Every time I read anything on Russia the Hunt For Red October Russian music plays in my head.
On a side note, I have finally given up on the human race. If your click on the Top 10 leaks link in that article look what shows up...
# The WikiLeaks War Logs
# Watergate's Deep Throat
# The Pentagon Papers
# Plamegate
# The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo Scandal
# The Apache Helicopter Shooting
# McChrystal's War Plan
# Sarah Palin's E-Mails
# Lil Wayne's The Leak
# The Twilight Leak
I dont know what to say...

Man if I was working for or had anything to do with wikileaks I would start to worry. The Russian secret forces aren't exactly known for popsiclefooting around with this kind of thing.

Pure chickenchit to me.
Then again, the US had radiation deliberately discharged on the West Coast for well over 30 years. It was a study to notate the effects of fallout entering the food supply (dairy, wheat, meat, etc) and what cities were impacted most. Read: "The Plutonium Files".

usual BS and bravado from the ruskis. once the datas out there, there is nothing they can do to stop it. wikileaks have always sent out copies of the raw database to a bunch of news organisations worldwide simultaneously with their own release.

No, but they can hunt the guy down the world over and ensure that he dies of a 'heart attack'

What "guy"? Wikileaks is a world spanning organisation with hundreds or thousands of journalists and other volunteer workers. Killing one guy isn't going to change much.

lol, since when have the Yanks been any different?
Both the USA and the RFED are arrogant, cocky and powerful governments with a case of "noodle size insecurity". They cannot stop them, nor catch them, but they could tighten their security a bit. But somehow I think it provides something healthy to the political landscape. It makes it look as if the Government has a lot to hide, and hidden things scare people. Plus, a nice source of ammunition for enemies in congress or parliment.
So in some ways this must be a GODSEND to the governments. Or if not, just makes it at least a bit more interesting.
