Just moved to Norman. We need to get together for a little golf and flying. Anyone else live in Sooner country?

I wouldn't trust Nimitz enough to golf with him. He's a lawyer. He's married to a lawyer.

Thats ok, I'm married to a first year law student, so she can look in her books of cheats and lies to help me keep an eye on him.

I've been a sick puppy all my life, so I married a nurse. ;)

Just remember, whatever happens, it's all Nimitz's fault......

Hehe - thats funny Drex. During my first (or maybe second) year of law school, that big tornado hit Moore/OKC. While it was in the area, my wife and I were at the law school studying. You could immediately tell everyone in the building thatw as from Oklahoma, and everyone that was from another State. All the Okies were outside looking for it, all the foreigners were hiding under desks :)
In case you dont have it, my email is nimitz@ou.edu Gimme a call if you like, 292 5080.

Hey you law studying people/land sharks. :D
I've been sort of perplexed about what the lure of studying law is - beside from the status/income thing.
Not saying it is boring - am just wondering what the in job "perks" are - is it wrangling around legal text, searching for precedent and thinking and executing a master plan?
It sure as hell can't be learning about law and what this or that paragraph says, so am i corrct in my assumption that that's simply the tools needed to plan, execute and win cases, and that *that* is where the kick is?

Arguing - its all about arguing :) And winning of course. If I can get paid to argue successfully, sign me up :)

The lure for my wife to attend law school was to take care of me while I play golf. It was all spelled out in our vows. Through sickness and health. Pay for all green fees and fruity drinks with umbrellas. blah blah blah...
Plus she needs formal training just to be able to argue with me, it is so one sided right now.
