Well ,last part of the "modernized" PC is here. The Geforce2 card (winfast Geforce2 MX) that I wanted, finally arrived to the shop, and I put it in the pc this morning...
But...how not, there is a problem. I get a lot of screen shudders, in 32 bit mode any game is next to unplayable and in 16 bits there are some of them, not nearly as many of them but still to disturb the attention.
I have tried the latest drivers for the card ,and the reference drivers from Nvidia...but the problem is still there, I have Vsync on, and have tried disabling in BIOS the AGPx4, for no effect.
The shudders are there to stay (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif).
Any hints? thanks.

RAM, if its a diamond card, you may be better off *not* using the reference drivers. Try getting the original manufacturers drivers rather than the references.
Other things - you got DX 7.0a?

the card is a Winfast Geforce2 MX, made by Leadtek...
First tried the drivers for the specific card, then tried the reference drivers.
No diference (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)
And yes I have Dx 7.0a
