Title: A Day of Honor
Post by: Puma44 on November 11, 2010, 02:16:59 PM
On this Veteran's Day, to all my fellow Vets, to all who are currently serving, a hearty THANK YOU!   :aok  We who are AvA enthusiasts, enjoy a historical recreation of how it was back in the day, minus the sacrifice and loss.

All gave some, some gave all.  :salute

Should be a law imo. :)
it is up north, I mean Canada. :)

Cept of course my free parking is useless on a day when parking is free to EVERYONE. :furious

Attended a parade, waved to friends, and bowed to the unfortunate new people I consider heros who didn't come back from the 'Stan.  One was a family friend.  :salute

Mucho props to all Vets.

I came of age just after the Carter administration, not much motivation to be in the military then.

By the time I matured enough to want to serve, I was too old. :old:

So I'll just :salute those who did.

I joined during the Carter administration 1978. It was Clinton where I had to call it quits.  :lol
